Every Child Deserves Another Opportunity to Shine
school

Why SEA Prep Matters

At Grade A Tutoring and Learning Centre, we understand that one examination result does not determine a child's future. Our full-time SEA Repeaters Programme is designed to provide students with the academic support, confidence, and structure needed to achieve their goals.

This programme is intended for students who scored below 30% and require intensive intervention, as well as students who successfully passed SEA but wish to rewrite the examination to improve their secondary school placement.

The full-time programme officially begins in September 2026. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in our July–August Vacation Programme to refresh core concepts, identify learning gaps, and transition smoothly into full-time classes.

  • Students who passed SEA but wish to improve their placement by rewriting the examination.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this programme designed for?

The programme is designed for:

  • Students who scored below 30% and require intensive academic intervention before rewriting SEA.

  • Students who passed SEA but wish to rewrite the examination to improve their secondary school placement.

  • Students who have significant gaps in Mathematics, Reading, Writing, and English Language and would benefit from a structured remediation programme.

How is this programme different from a traditional SEA class?

This is not a traditional SEA preparation class. It is a remediation and intervention programme specifically designed for students who have already written the examination.

Because students have already experienced SEA, they generally understand the examination format and expectations. Our focus is on identifying what was not fully understood the first time and addressing those learning gaps through targeted instruction.

The goal is not simply to repeat the same process, but to:

  • Strengthen foundational skills.

  • Correct misconceptions.

  • Improve confidence and study habits.

  • Provide intensive support in weak areas.

  • Prepare students to achieve better outcomes on their second attempt.

When does the programme begin?

The full-time programme officially begins in September 2026. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in our July–August Vacation Programme to refresh core concepts and transition smoothly into full-time classes.

Where will my child write the SEA examination?

Students will register as private candidates and will sit the SEA examination at a centre assigned by the Ministry of Education.

Does Grade A register students for the examination?

Parents are responsible for registering their children as private candidates. However, Grade A will provide guidance and support throughout the registration process.

Is this a full-time programme?
